I've started running on a daily basis now. Today I ran only 12 minutes before my legs started to hurt. Yesterday I ran a decent 2 miles in 18 minutes. My shoes aren't the most comfortable otherwise I have breath to run much longer. Soon I hope to reach 3-miles/30-minutes. I don't need to lose weight per se, but I do have to get rid of a spare tire.
